This is an exciting time to join the Art Team at Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums, to work on two projects: curating a new ceramic collection based at the Shipley Art Gallery and coordinating a conservation project at the Hatton Gallery.
We are currently seeking an Assistant Keeper of Art to work with our Art Keepers to provide curatorial support and to generate exhibition and displays related to assigned collections. The post will mainly work across the Hatton Gallery and Shipley Art Gallery but will also have the opportunity to work at the Laing Art Gallery.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic curator with a thirst for a varied, challenging and busy working environment. This is an ideal opportunity to develop skills to become an experienced, flexible and multi-skilled art curator.
