The Role: Senior Safe Living Manager, permanent contract, full-time (flexible working requests/job share considered)
Location: YHN Head office is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne; current working arrangements are under review and it is expected that this role will work from home, the community, and in the office moving forward (working arrangement to be decided with the appointed candidate).
This is a key Strategic role for us here at YHN. You will work alongside 4 Senior Managers across the Housing Services directorate to deliver amazing standards of housing management. Your role will be to lead the Safe Living team through implementing the new policy and service model for the service, embedding our customer centred approach to managing ASB on our estates and enabling our communities to influence lasting change in their neighbourhoods through a consistent culture of consideration within our service offer. You’ll work strategically with the Safe Newcastle board alongside key partners to influence meaningful, impactful and lasting change across the City.
This is an exciting role for anyone who is experienced in leading teams in a busy service area and has a passion for thriving communities and creating neighbourhoods to be proud of. You’ll need to be a great leader, good at performance monitoring and managing the workload of a busy service area. You’ll also need to be able to work with people at all levels and across multiple organisations – being an ambassador and an enabler across the Safe communities agenda.
We’ve laid the foundations for an amazing service that will ensure we achieving our Vision to be First For Housing. We are now looking for the person to lead us in implementing and developing these plans.
