Newcastle is about to see the biggest investment in its transport infrastructure for a generation. We have already started work on significant improvements and have secured funding to deliver more.
Over the next five years we aim to transform the way our transport network works both in the city centre and on the routes around and into Newcastle.
As part of a small team that will lead this programme of investment you will be expected to play a prominent role in the development and delivery of major changes to the city.
We have two senior posts vacant within the team. Each offers an excellent opportunity to assist in the management of a number of high profile transport initiatives across all modes and to participate in the development and delivery of a number of strategies vital to the economic prosperity of our city.
