Newcastle City Learning wishes to appoint enthusiastic and innovative tutors, with experience in one or more of the above subjects, to compliment the delivery of our popular Access to HE Diploma programme at Westgate Community College. We are looking for individuals with experience of teaching in and advising on the Access to HE programme and in supporting learners to apply for university.
Our ideal candidates will possess excellent teaching, assessment and planning skills and be confident in the use of e-learning and virtual learning environments. You will also possess excellent communication, oral and pastoral skills to support our learners through their progression towards higher education. Experience of delivering the Access to HE Diploma curriculum and the ability to work to tight deadlines is essential along with a thorough understanding of the demands of the syllabus, assessment criteria and Access to HE regulations.
