(Plus the possibility of a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant role for 6.25 hours per week, term time only. £1,809 - £1,923 per annum)

The Head Teacher and governing body are looking to appoint a suitably qualified/experienced person to take on the role of Level 2 Support Assistant. The school is part of the Newcastle North West Learning Trust and as such you will be employed by the Governing Body of the school.

The Governing Body are looking to appoint an outstanding individual who:
• Has good skills in literacy and numeracy
• Has confidence to plan for, work with and assess the progress of children –under the direction of the class teacher.
• Has knowledge and experience of delivering the literacy and numeracy curriculum in Key Stage 2
• Has an ability to use ICT systems.

The school is strongly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful applicant will be required to obtain an enhanced Certificate of Disclosure from the DBS and a range of other recruitment checks.
