We are looking to recruit an experienced, motivated and quality driven Activity Officer to join our team at Elswick Park and Pool in delivering a range of leisure and health orientated activities.

You will be qualified (minimum Level 2 or be prepared to attain other relevant qualifications) to deliver a range of activities including gym inductions, personal fitness programmes, swimming lessons, physical activity classes and sessions.

You must have a clear understanding of the benefits of sport, physical activity and healthy lifestyles and be able to adopt and adapt activity sessions into a variety of centre based and community settings.

A NPLG qualification would be beneficial as well as experience of supervising a busy gym environment. The role is diverse and challenging as well as rewarding.

You will operate around a shift system involving some evening and weekend work.
