Fixed term from September 2014 until 31 August 2015 or the return of the current postholder, whichever is sooner (Maternity cover).
This is an exciting opportunity to join the newly formed customer culture and skills division. You will support the Area Manager in the delivery of high quality front line services both within the Customers, Culture and Skills Division and a range of customer services, leisure and library facilities across the city.
Duties will involve acting as the lead site officer in building and facilities management and development and will include liaising with external contractors and the deployment and management of staff. You should have experience in managing, motivating and leading a team and experience of managing a team of staff to adopt a customer focussed approach to their duties. This post requires late night and weekend working on a rota.
