Fixed term for one year in the first instance

We require as soon as possible, a Technician of Media Studies and Performing Arts. The successful applicant will be expected to support well established departments at both GCSE and A Level. You should be flexible in your approach to work, be a team player, and use your own initiative.

You should have:
• considerable experience and expertise in using Adobe Creative Suite software, specifically Adobe Premiere and Photoshop.
• the ability to support Media Studies practical lessons and to aid students in producing examination projects in audio visual and print mediums.
• the ability to support extra-curricular activities including a small radio station and film making projects.
• familiarity with equipment linked to video and audio projects e.g. vision and sound mixers.
• experience of live and studio sound mixing.
• experience of rigging and operating sound and lighting equipment in a theatre environment.
• experience of working with young people.

Some out of hours working will be required.
