Required for September 2016

Gosforth Central Middle School is seeking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher from September 2016 with responsibility for promoting and sustaining high standards of teaching and learning across the curriculum and good behaviour across the school.

We are looking for a colleague who is confident, creative and experienced with the energy, drive and enthusiasm to lead, inspire and motivate pupils and staff. You will have a proven track record of effective leadership and management and experience of accelerating pupil progress, either at subject level or equivalent.

All applicants must hold the relevant teaching qualifications.

This school is strongly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful applicant will be required to obtain an Enhanced Certificate of Disclosure from the DBS and a range of other recruitment checks.
