A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and well-qualified Curriculum Resources Assistant in Art to join the Creative Arts Faculty at DCHS. The Creative Arts Faculty, which includes Art, Music and Film aims to inspire and lead outstanding Arts practise across all of the Arts Disciplines.

We are seeking a technician to support all three areas in the maintenance and care of equipment, stock management and ordering, preparation of materials and equipment for class use. You will maintain and change displays and exhibitions, assist with major exhibitions, concerts and screenings each year. You will support the development of scenery and prop building for two annual productions and the general promotion of the Faculty across the wider school and community.

The successful candidate should have a background within an Arts setting or discipline, a willingness to be trained in the use of subject specific software, be organised and be able to work to specific timeframes is essential.

15 hours per week, Term Time only
Salary: Band 3 (£5507 - £5894), being pro-rata of £16,231 - £17,372)

Required as soon as possible. This is a fixed term appointment until 31 August 2016.
