Due to the retirement of our dedicated Head Teacher, the Governing Body is seeking to appoint a practising and committed Catholic to lead our successful school with vision, decisive leadership and the drive to develop the gifts of our school community.

Our children (their behaviour is judged as outstanding!) say: “we are a welcoming school with amazing staff. We are always playing together, no one is left out and each day we improve in our learning. We want someone who takes care of us and who will have a good experience here.”
Staff want "an enthusiastic, inspiring and visionary leader to join our dedicated, hard working team."

We are looking for:
• The right person who will embrace our mission, vision and ethos of servant leadership.
• A relentless focus on improvement; high expectations for self and others in an atmosphere where everyone is valued, respected and encouraged to succeed.
• An excellent communicator who will nurture strong working relationships with staff, children, families, parish and local partnerships.
• An outstanding practitioner who has experience teaching within the primary age range.
• Exceptional skills in monitoring of pupil progress and finance through effective data analysis and evaluation.

Located in the heart of Northumberland, the bustling historic market town of Morpeth is the gateway to an area of natural beauty. The school is within the grounds of our parish church, a true faith community.

“St Robert’s is a good Catholic school with many outstanding features. Excellent relationships and communication are a key strength of the school which foster the development of a community in which inclusion is given a high priority. The leadership team’s deep commitment and passion are a source of inspiration for the whole community.” (s48, 2011)

“A good school where care, guidance and support for its pupils are outstanding.” (Ofsted, 2011)
