You will hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years e.g. NNEB, B/Tech/ NVQ Level 3 OR similar and a commitment to undertake further training with experience of working with pre-school children in a group setting and providing play opportunities for pre-school children linked to their developmental stage.
You will have knowledge and understanding of current childcare practice and child development with an understanding of how children play and learn and be familiar with a range of child protection issues.
This is a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave with a main base at Hexham Children Centre and second base at Prudhoe Children Centre.
