The Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, highly committed and enthusiastic KS1 teacher to cover a maternity leave in our hard working and supportive team. The post is currently in our Reception class for approximately two terms. NQTs are welcome to apply.
Applicants are invited from teachers who are practicing Catholics or those who are sympathetic to the teaching of the Catholic Church and who are committed to high expectations within a caring environment. The postholder will need to:
• Have a commitment to uphold the Catholic ethos of the school and support
the aims of the Mission Statement
• Be an inspirational teacher, with high expectations and the ability to raise
standards
• Be highly motivated, well organised and an excellent team player
• Have a thorough knowledge of the KS1 Curriculum and assessment systems
• Have excellent classroom management skills, with high expectations of
achievement and behaviour
• Be prepared to be involved in the wider life of the school
