You will be required to work with the Cook and undertake duties required in the preparation, cooking and service of meals and refreshments to the Public. You will be required to deputise in the absence of the Cook. You will also be required to operate a cash till.

Hepscott Park Cafe works with Volunteers with a learning disability and is located on the site of the Horticultural Skills Unit, Learning Disability Day Service.

A flexible approach to work times and to the nature of the duties performed is essential. The working week is Monday to Saturday, and you will be required to work 4 days per week.

Opportunity for Casual assistant cook and General assistance

There are times when, due to staff absence or increased demands, additional staff are needed to provide assistance to service users.

An opportunity has arisen to become part of a group of staff who will occasionally be contacted, sometimes at short notice, to see if they are able to work in the café at Hepscott park providing daily beverages o the public ,service users who attend the Hepscott horticultural unit in Hepscott and other meal provisions within our LD services within Northumberland.
