Northumberland Wellbeing Services are looking to recruit two team managers within the children's social work service. We are adding capacity to the existing service and are keen to recruit individuals with a proven track record of driving up quality standards and shaping good social work practice.
You will be based within the safeguarding teams and work with existing managers offering clear direction, support and reflective supervision to practitioners. You will have extensive experience of child protection social work and care planning combined with the skill of interpreting performance information and practising in a child focussed way.
The role will be challenging and varied and offer excellent opportunities for the successful candidates to be instrumental in the transformation and improvement journey of the service.
As part of the role you will be offered a comprehensive induction package and continuous professional development supported by the Principal Social worker.
