The Governors of Choppington Primary School invite applications for the post of Unit Manager to join our team. The successful applicant will manage and contribute to the preparation and cooking of school meals, accommodating any special dietary requirements, following agreed menus.
Governors seek an individual who;
• Can work well within and direct the work if necessary, demonstrating enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
• Place food orders with agreed suppliers. Manage and contribute to the receipt and safe storage of goods, stock control and necessary paperwork.
• Control of the servery.
• Manage and contribute to the washing up, setting up and clearing away of equipment and tables, cleaning of the kitchen and the surrounding area.
• Contribute to the catering provision at special events as required.
• Ensure compliance with Hygiene, Health and Safety legislation, financial regulations and School policy and procedures at all times.
This post is a variable hours contract between 20 hours and 25 hours, initially for 25 hours per week. Required to start 3rd April 2017
This is a Permanent post
