Ashington High School is part of the wider Ashington Partnership which in September 2015 re-structured from a 3-
tier to 2-tier system of education. Ashington High became an 11-18 secondary school with a student population of
around 1,200.
Teacher of Science
Required for a September 2017 start, governors are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and inspiring
teacher to support us in our drive to improve standards in Science. You will be able to contribute towards teaching
across the full age and ability range and will be joining a school with a very strong commitment to the professional
development of all staff.
The post is in the salary range £22,467 - £38,250 and is suitable for experienced teachers and NQTs.
