An exciting new Strategic Safeguarding Manager post is now available in Northumberland. This will be of interest to professionals with experience of Adult Protection and Safeguarding Policies and Procedures plus an up-to-date understanding of the key issues and relevant theoretical background facing professionals in the field of adult safeguarding.
You will be responsible for leading service delivery and improvement in the areas of adult safeguarding, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, and Mental Capacity Act within Northumberland. You will support suitable professional and leadership arrangements to meet local authority responsibilities ensuring that all relevant statutory and related requirements are met.
You must have a degree in Social Work, Dip SW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent health professional qualification in addition to an appropriate management qualification or equivalent experience.
