Our school is very successful and popular, with a positive ethos and work ethic. We aim to provide the highest standards of education and value academic excellence, pupil well-being and personal development in equal measure. Highfield was deemed to be a good school in our last Ofsted inspection in 2013.

Are you creative, passionate about teaching and learning? Do you have a positive approach and outlook? If you are, we would like you to join our dynamic team at Highfield Middle School.

The successful applicant is required to work in Key Stages 2 and 3 and to teach Computing and Design Technology (Resistant Materials). They may also be expected to be able to teach across a range of other subjects if and when required.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced criminal records check is required for this post.

Further information about the school can be found on our website.

An application pack, including an application form, is available to download below.

Completed application forms should be returned directly to the school by post or by e-mail, no later than midday on Friday 5 July. Interviews will be held on week commencing 11th July.
