Your role is to undertake internal plastering/external rendering and damp proofing repairs to the highest quality and standard in accordance with work requests and pre-determined specifications to a wide range of fixtures and fittings. This will include the removal or adjustment of existing fittings and fixtures, the preparation of surfaces, the marking out, construction / fabrication / assembly of new fittings and fixtures and re-fitting, planning and scheduling of work. You will be responsible for the maintenance of imprest stock levels, replenish stock as necessary and itemise stock usage on individual works orders and immediately notify their Supervisor of any discrepancy or losses. You will work to an appointment system and complete work within priority timescales.

You will be educated to City & Guilds Level 3 in Plastering or equivalent
with extensive experience of being a Plasterer in a customer facing environment, along with a good knowledge of the Health & Safety requirements associated with the trade and have a sound working knowledge of all elements of building construction, components, building trades and applicable building regulations. You must have the ability to work largely unsupervised and be prepared to travel throughout the County. An understanding of local authority housing or
working in a Housing association or similar environment would be desirable.
