Digital Manager – Laidlaw Schools Trust

The Laidlaw Schools Trust is a growing family of six schools helping transform thousands of young lives in North East England – and we are looking for a Digital Manager to join our success story.

It’s a key appointment for us as our trust expands to educate more than 4,000 children, ensuring that our digital systems are expertly managed and maintained.

If you have experience of designing, developing and maintaining content management systems, then we’d like to hear from you.

You’ll have a proven track record of project management of digital systems and reports and of building, hosting and maintaining an in-house web server using the latest web technologies.

And of course, you’ll have a passion for what you do, to develop ideas and be able to work under pressure across multiple projects.

In return, you’ll be joining a great and committed team with the satisfaction of knowing the difference your expertise will make to the education and life-changing opportunities we bring to children in our schools in Newcastle and Sunderland.

The great majority of our pupils come from some of the most disadvantaged and deprived communities in the UK. The Laidlaw Schools Trust invests £2.5m every year into improved facilities and extra curricular activities at its academies.

The closing date for applications is 12noon on Wednesday 24 January 2018.
Interviews will take place in Newcastle on 1 and 2 February 2018.

Please return your application form and letter of application by e-mail to hradmin@laidlawschoolstrust.com

For an informal discussion please contact Shaun Dillon at: shaun.dillon@laidlawschoolstrust.com

We are an equal opportunities employer strongly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

The successful applicant will be required to obtain an Enhanced Certificate of Disclosure from the DBS and a range of other recruitment checks. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their commitment to children’s safeguarding.
