Academy 360 is a rapidly improving school in Sunderland at the heart of its local community.
The Academy has recently joined Laidlaw School Trust (LST), The Laidlaw Schools Trust is a growing family of six schools helping transform thousands of young lives in North East England. LST invests significantly in the training and development of all staff and is able to offer all staff a wide range of opportunities and benefits.
Academy 360 is an all-through Academy providing education for students aged 4 – 16. As a member of Laidlaw Schools Trust it benefits from the support of being a partner in a small local Multi Academy Trust which also includes one of the main feeder Primary schools for Academy 360’s secondary school.
An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and outstanding Science Teacher to join our Academy. The successful candidate will be an outstanding, passionate and dynamic teacher to join our hard working, well-resourced Science department. The ideal candidate will offer high quality teaching at KS3 and KS4 and have a passion for working with young people. Applicants will be expected to have excellent subject knowledge and enjoy working as part of a creative team which continually looks to deepen its understanding of the new GCSEs and to improve its delivery of content through sharing of best practice.
Governors are interested in applications from newly qualified teachers and also teachers with experience and expertise who are interested in developing as leaders.
