Caretaker

Working alongside our experienced Caretakers/Handypersons, we are seeking a fixed term Caretaker who is available to work on a three week shift pattern until 31 August 2018 in the first instance.
Duties will include undertaking minor repairs and maintenance so this role would suit someone who is good with their hands and has experience of basic joinery, plastering, painting/decorating or similar.
The successful applicant will also be required to operate the swimming pool plant room, a National Pool Plant Operator Certificate would be an advantage, although training can be provided.
Previous experience of being a school caretaker would be preferred but this role could also suit someone who is looking to try this out for the first time.
Hours of work will be 37 hours per week, on a three weekly rota system:
Week 1 day shift 8am-4.30pm (30 minute break and one hour lunch -unpaid)
Week 2 early shift 6.30am to 3pm (30 minute break and one hour lunch - unpaid)
Week 3 late shift 2.15pm to 10.15pm (with an unpaid hour for lunch each day)
