Shanklea Primary, a wonderful school in the vibrant community of Cramlington new town is seeking a self-motivated teacher to join them from September 2018.
We have an excellent reputation, and are known for providing our students with an extraordinary education. We are within the top five percent of schools in the United Kingdom for student progress.
The school is based within walking distance to several excellent transport links to the North East area. It has an Ofsted rating of “Good” with outstanding features. The school has been praised for their exceptional leadership who create a positive, inclusive environment for learning.
The successful candidate will be working in Upper Key Stage two, either with a Year 5 or Year 6 class, so a working knowledge of the KS2 curriculum is essential. If you are a newly qualified teacher, the school offer an outstanding induction programme, and you will be fully supported to achieve to your potential. However, NQTs will need to hold outstanding references and be committed to providing a high level of teaching.
You will be working with students who are respectful towards each other and create a calm and cohesive atmosphere. We are incredibly appreciative of our teachers, and love being part of a community that is invested in encouraging and developing the unique strengths and talents of each pupil.
This is a temporary position until Friday 19th July 2019.
