Further Information
Northumberland County Council are looking to appoint a motivated, flexible individual to be responsible for the day-to-day running of administrative services within the district offices.

The postholder will manage a team of administrative, clerical and typing support staff, delegating work appropriately, providing clear guidance and motivating staff to achieve service objectives and quality standards.

You will be responsible for the management and reconciliation of various financial accounts. Managing printing and stationery allocations and ordering goods/services. Handling cheques, processing invoices and large amounts of petty cash.

The successful candidate needs to be highly motivated, have the ability to work under and respond positively to pressure and manage their own workloads in order to meet targets.

You must have a good general education demonstrating numeracy and literacy, and possess NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a business related discipline.
