Further Information
To assist in developing, monitoring and reviewing highway improvement programmes for Northumberland and work with partners to help achieve the authority’s strategic transport priorities.

You will work as part of the team, to assist in developing, preparing, monitoring and reviewing highway improvement programmes for Northumberland to contribute to the authority’s development and review of transport strategy.
You will help to build working relationships with partners, both internal and external, to attract funding for highway improvement projects and the highway elements of more broadly based initiatives.

Generally office based, with travel to work sites throughout the County and further afield on occasion.

You should hold a BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent standard of general education and have in depth knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, practices and procedures in relation to the specialist area of transport planning.

You must be able to meet the transport requirements of the post.
