The Berwick Record Office wishes to recruit a professionally qualified archivist to work on a project to recatalogue the original Berwick Borough Archive collection as well as catalogue new additional deposits . The collection covers the 16th – 20th centuries and illustrates the colourful history of England’s most northerly borough. Thanks to funding from the National Archives and Pilgrim’s Trust “Archives Revealed” programme, the cataloguing archivist will create a digital online catalogue for the collection and work with the Berwick Archivist and other staff to develop volunteering opportunities and promotional activities centred on the collection.
Application Deadline : mid day Monday 8th October
Interview Date : Monday 22nd October
This is a fixed term position for 12 months.
