An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic team manager to join the management team for Onecall Services based at Foundry House in Bedlington. The successful candidate will manage our Telecare Team - this is a fixed term contract for twelve months to cover the secondment of the existing postholder.

The service operates 24 hours per day, 365 days per year and the manager will be expected to work some evenings and weekends to support the service. The main function of the team in normal office hours is to respond to alarm activations for our customers who have Telecare equipment within their homes. Overnight and at weekends we become the emergency contact point for a range of services within Northumberland County Council and Northumbria Healthcare. The control room receives a wide variety of calls which could include for example requests for urgent district nursing support for end of life patients or urgent repairs to a council property.

The successful will have a proactive, can do attitude and will be committed to driving the service forward. Experience of working within a contact centre environment would be beneficial and management experience is essential.
