Northumberland County Council is seeking to recruit a qualified librarian to care for and promote our important Local Studies collection. The post holder will be responsible for managing Northumberland County Council’s Local Studies reserve and reference collections and promoting their usage by staff, community groups and members of the public across Northumberland, developing and participating in a programme of outreach events across the county and working with volunteers. The post is based at Northumberland Archives at Woodhorn but the post holder will be expected to work across county library venues.
