Tynedale House supports people with learning disabilities, with associated and complex needs
You will be required to carry out domestic, physical and personal care tasks for the residents and maintaining the hygienic conditions within the unit.
You must have a good general level of education, the ability to work as part of a team, be able to communicate verbally and in writing. You must also work in an anti-discriminatory manner, have an awareness of the need to respect privacy, dignity and independence. A willingness to undertake further training and the ability to meet the physical requirements of the post is essential.
An NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or an equivalent, a willingness to work toward this or previous experience in care would be desirable
