We are looking to recruit a Highways Operative to assist with highways repairs/maintenance tasks including; modular and block paving, laying insitu concrete and associated steel reinforcement; laying kerbs and channels. You will be expected to adhere to all Health and Safety Method Statements and be aware of and comply with Health and Safety regulations and requirements.
You must have a City & Guilds Craft Certificate in Roadwork, NVQ Level 2 (or working towards) or equivalent qualification or significant industry experience and basic numeracy and literacy skills. Specialist skills associated with the operation and maintenance of hand power tools is also essential.
