The Service
Highways Delivery operates within the Local Services group. Highways Delivery is responsible for the successful delivery of both capital and revenue funded works including the LTP/IT programmes.
The role
The CETL will be part of the South East Northumberland Highways Delivery Team. They will be responsible for the cost effective delivery of works on the ground. They will manage a team of varying size as well as sub contractors and operated plant. They will have a good knowledge of H&S and relevant risk assessments as well as operational best practice.
Required Skills & Experience:-
-Current SMSTS qualification.
-Ability to organise own and others workload.
-Self-starter and well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
-Organised with attention to detail.
-Good understanding of Health and Safety Regulations.
-Full UK Driving licence.
-Good levels of numeracy and literacy.

Essential requirements:
Applicants must be SMSTS qualified and hold a full UK driving licence.
