Northumberland County Council are currently recruiting for a suitably qualified and experienced team leader to join the repairs and maintenance team, delivering planned and re-active maintenance services to tenants homes in Northumberland. This role will carry responsibility for the safe and productive management of a team of multi-skilled tradesman.

The role will have responsibility for delivering a high quality service to the Councils tenants and stake-holders using an in-house multi-skilled work-force and ensuring the works are carried out within KPI timescales, with particular attention given to safe-working practices and high quality workmanship. The team leader will be responsible for dealing with compliments and complaints from members of the public and identifying training to keep the delivery of the service to the expected high standards of the Council. Therefore excellent written and verbal skills will be necessary

We are offering:
? A starting salary of £27,358 rising to £30,756 after appropriate progression
? Access to the Local Government Pension Scheme (or other pension scheme)

Essential requirements:
? Qualified to degree level in construction management is the ideal with a minimum of HNC level in construction related discipline
