The Service
Based in the Business and Customer Support Team of Local Services both of these positions will be involved in the provision of key back office support services to their refuse collection, highways and NEAT operational colleagues as well as providing support to management and the public. The team is a small one based at Tyne Mills Depot in Hexham and the successful applicants will be working alongside technical, administrative and operational colleagues. The service areas covered include refuse collection, recycling, garden and commercial waste, parks and grounds maintenance, cleansing, gully emptying, markets, car parks, vehicle fleet management, highway maintenance, winter maintenance and cemetery and burial administration. The posts report to the Area Admin Officer (also based in Tyne Mills Depot), and are part of Neighbourhood Services.

The role
We are looking for an experienced admin assistant to join our Business and Customer Support team (one permanent). The main aspects of the role are:
Receive and administer service requests from customers via our CRM system
Operate financial and performance management systems
Manage and administer records in accordance with agreed practices and procedures
Raise invoices and issue contractual documentation, process payments and manage debt recovery
Raising and receipting orders for the supply of goods and services

Essential requirements:
A good general level of education
NVQ2 or equivalent in a business related discipline
Effective IT skills and experience of using MS Office and google
Experience of providing admin support to operational service desirable
