Newcastle City Council is developing its fostering service to provide a flexible and therapeutic approach to working with children placed in foster placements.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Resource Worker with experience of working with difficult to engage children and of implementing behaviour management strategies. You will be a key component of our Foster a Future multi-disciplinary team. You will support Foster Carers and work with education services, children’s social workers, IRO’s, health services and those persons important to the child, as part of a whole team approach to meeting the needs of complex young people to keep them safe and secure in foster placement.
