Northumberland County Council is seeking to appoint a number of permanent and temporary Service Directors and Assistant Service Directors across a range of directorates and with a range of responsibilities to assist in the delivery of our services for the future.

SERVICE DIRECTOR/ASSISTANT SERVICE DIRECTOR

Permanent and Interim (12 months initially)

Salary range: £70 - 95k

We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our Senior Leadership Team as Service Directors and Assistant Service Directors who can lead and develop operational service delivery across the Council.

You will have a proven track record of successfully leading operational service delivery within a large organisation, the ability to manage teams and lead the delivery of complex projects and deal with day to day challenging operational issues is essential.

Successful candidates will be able to fulfil a broad remit and be willing to adapt to working across multiple areas and with several staff groups.

Applications are particularly welcome from individuals with a background in regeneration, policy development, operational management and economic development however this is not essential and all applications will be considered accordingly.
