The Service

Neighbourhood Services consists of a large team of operational front-line staff to deliver the operational functions including refuse collection, recycling and garden waste services, street cleansing, grounds maintenance, burials and public conveniences to the required standards within defined geographical area.

You will undertake the provision of an efficient and effective horticultural, sports ground, green keeping and arboricultural service.
You will have day to day responsibility for the careful use and maintenance of expensive vehicles and allocated tools and equipment.
You will work individually or as part of a team and under the general direction of senior colleagues. 

Essential requirements:
NVQ in Horticulture/Grounds Person/Green keeping/Arboriculture minimum level 2 or relevant comparable experience. 
NPTC Pesticide PA1 & 6 preferred
