Integrated Children’s Centre Coordinator, Haltwhistle and Bellingham 

We are seeking to recruit an Integrated Children’s Centre Coordinator to lead and manage the delivery of Sure Start Children’s Centre services for Haltwhistle and Bellingham areas. 

Ideal candidates are passionate, hard working and committed to improving the lives of children and their families.  As you would expect, we are looking for self motivated and responsible applicants, with the communication skills required to engage a wide range of people across our broad stakeholder group.. You will enjoy working as part of a team, but are equally as happy when you use your own initiative and work independently to manage the commitments of yourself and your team.  Experience of leading the delivery of services which offer early intervention and prevention, and of supporting Early Years Practitioners and other colleagues to give of their best are important characteristics of the postholder. 

The main office base is within Haltwhistle, with an expectation of equal presence at Bellingham to ensure the smooth delivery of each provision. There is also a requirement to work across other sites in the West Locality, in addition to attending meetings across Northumberland.  

This is a full time 37 hours post, with a salary scale of £32,029 - £35,934. 

A related qualification/degree is essential, and a management qualification is desirable.
