This position is integral to the operation of the Street Works function as it provides technical support to the Network Coordinator, Permit Officers and Street Works Inspectors and is responsible for daily liaison with external contractors and customers and also for the procedures relating to implementing Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders. The post holder is also responsible for preparing road closures for highways works and events and also for authorising incoming requests for skips, scaffolds, hoardings, temporary traffic controls and the technical advice associated with these activities is essential in ensuring an adequate level of support to maintain a safe Network throughout the county.
Permanent, Full time contract.
