The Service

The primary purpose of Neighbourhood Services is to work with local communities and other key stakeholder organisations to improve the physical appearance and quality of life within our communities, making them more sustainable, self-sufficient and safer places.

Neighbourhood Services is part of the Local Services Directorate and this post is responsible for refuse and recycling, street cleansing, grounds maintenance, countryside and green spaces and markets, also supporting winter maintenance, flooding and extreme weather response.

The role

You will provide professional and technical advice on all Neighbourhood Services functions. As an effective leader you will coordinate and manage the range of services in your area. You will be expected to build effective relationships with councillors and other outside agencies and instil a culture of customer care and engagement across the division.

A starting salary of £60,253 (rising to £63,540)
