If you are enthusiastic, creative and committed don’t miss this exciting opportunity to join our art team in curating and delivering exhibitions across the Laing Art Gallery, Hatton Gallery and Shipley Art Gallery. You will develop, manage and deliver a varied and challenging programme of engaging exhibitions and events.
Working within the heritage context of each gallery you will have a commitment to working with artists and developing engaging programmes that will enthuse audiences. With a degree or equivalent qualification/ experience in art/history of art, you will have experience of working in galleries and/or museums and of delivering major temporary exhibitions.
You will also be an effective team worker with the confidence and ability to lead creatively and work closely with colleagues in regional and national museums to ensure delivery of a high quality product. It is essential that the post holder has the ability to work on their own initiative, is self-motivated, a good communicator and very well organised.
