The governors of Waverley Primary School are looking to appoint a Facilities Manager to start in 1 October 2020.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly motivated team. The successful candidate will work in and around the building site to ensure the school is fit for purpose.
You will be required to undertake basic site management of the internal and external building, have knowledge of Health and Safety regulations in schools and be able to carry out basic repairs of damaged or defective equipment or resources.
Experience of working in a school environment is desirable. A pleasant, patient demeanour together with an ability to work at speed accurately to deadlines, to manage time effectively and to keep smiling is essential.
Waverley is strongly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be required to obtain a Certificate of Disclosure from the DBS and a range of other recruitment checks.
