We are seeking an experienced payroll officer with knowledge in one or more key areas of Payroll such as PAYE, National Insurance, pension legislation and customer service delivery to work in our busy Payroll team.
You will have good working knowledge of payroll and staffing related policies, administrative practices and procedures.

The role
The role involves being the main point of contact for a number of establishments offering payroll administration. You will be involved in all aspects of pay, pensions and benefits. This is an exciting opportunity in an ever changing payroll and pensions landscape where you will continue to learn and develop your skills and experience. We are looking for a dedicated individual who can demonstrate the ability to organise and prioritise workloads, work under pressure to deadlines with conflicting demands and deal confidently with a full range of requests responding in a mature and courteous manner in sometimes difficult situations.

You must have a good general level of education demonstrating numeracy and literacy, NVQ Level 2 standard or equivalent.

- A starting salary of £19,554 (Band 4) pro rata
