This is an excellent opportunity to join our team of staff at West Walker Primary School, one of five schools within NEAT Academy Trust. At the heart of our trust is the aim to nurture, educate, achieve and transform the lives of young people and our communities.

We are looking for an experienced and caring Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to liaise with the kitchen staff and look after pupils during lunchtimes.
The candidate will ideally have experience of working with or caring for children and be able to:

? Establish positive relationships with children
? Work across the whole primary age range (3 – 11 years)
? Communicate with children in a way that they can understand and relate to
? Maintain discipline according to school policy in a calm, fair way
? To provide basic first aid when needed
? Engage and motivate children to join in organised play activities
? Deal with any challenging behaviour in a patient, quiet manner
? Be sensitive to the differing needs of children
? Work effectively as part of a team, taking different roles on a rota basis within that team
