Monitoring, Compliance and Enforcement Officer based at Morpeth

The role of the Monitoring, Compliance and Enforcement is to ensure that all the Council's contracted transport operators operate in accordance with legal requirements as we as the Council's terms and conditions and service specification.  To undertake monitoring, apply enforcement and ensure compliance in relation to all contracted passenger transport services, ensuring all contract personnel and contracted vehicles meet the contractual standards of NCC as well as legal requirements and guidance.  Formulate and deliver compliance & safeguarding training throughout Northumberland.

This post will carry out a pivotal role ensuring that the County Council fully discharge its duty of care and good practice in the safe provision of passenger transport services for all children and vulnerable adults.   Ensure the provision of timely and accurate information for other members of the public accessing local bus services. The development of policies and projects, and the management of relations with external partners.
