St Cuthbert’s Catholic High School is seeking to appoint an outstanding biology teacher. Our science department thrives on the notions of excellence, engagement and enthusiasm for the subject. We deliver a broad curriculum building science skills, knowledge and understanding through the excellent teaching. Throughout the school each discipline is taught as a separate subject. The science team is led by a head of science and each curriculum area has its own subject specialist lead. The successful candidate will receive support from a highly experienced subject leader.

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and dynamic teacher, who can inspire our pupils. The successful candidate may be expected to teach up to A Level and will be committed to outstanding teaching and learning. The ability to extend pupils' engagement beyond the school day, through co-curricular activities would be an advantage.
