The Governors of Amble First School are seeking to appoint an exceptional new Headteacher to their school following the recent successful recruitment of the current Headteacher to a new school. • Demonstrate excellent teaching skills through a regular weekly teaching commitment across the school - currently 0.2
• Value the strengths of the staff team and stakeholders.
• Drive to develop school sustainability whilst maintaining our own identity.
• Be willing to continue the huge journey Amble First School and its children, staff and stakeholders have already been on, giving time to embed, consolidate and strengthen the excellent progress we have already made.
• Recognise and understand the community of Amble.
• Bring creativity, resilience and industrious ideas to maintain our team and our shared learning within our small school at times of local, national and global challenges.
• Be ambitious and adventurous, using our local area and outside agencies to provide our pupils with the best education and experiences possible.
• Be an excellent communicator who is able to build relationships, recognising the experience and talents of the school team as a whole and individually.
• Continue to strive to be a leading force within the local partnership and Northumberland as a whole.

In return we offer you -
• A welcoming and forward thinking environment
• A skilled and experienced team of staff and governors
• Exceptional children, young people and families in a unique and upcoming coastal community
• A school that deeply cares about all of its children, families and stakeholders and their wellbeing
• A keen willingness to work with other schools, practitioners and agencies
