7.5 hours per week (1.5 hours per day, 11.30am to 1.00pm or 12noon to 1.30pm), term time only plus 3 training days as directed by the school.

Fixed term until 23rd July 2021 in the first instance, with a possible extension to July 2022.

To start as soon as possible after the closing date.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a reliable and self-motivated Midday Supervisory Assistant. If you can work as part of a supportive and hardworking team, then this could be the opportunity that you are looking for to gain experience in a vibrant and forward-thinking school.

The ability to work as part of the team is essential. Positive and supportive relationships with staff and children will help make this challenging post rewarding and enjoyable.

Any relevant child care qualifications or first aid training would be beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities:
•Ensuring children are safely supervised at all times.
•Communicate effectively with children.
•Lead children in play in the playground and in classrooms during wet playtimes.
•May involve supervising and play with children who have SEND in small group or 1 to 1.
•Liaise with class teachers and Midday Supervisor to inform of any welfare issues
