The Governing Body of The Federation of Longhorsley and Whalton C of E Schools are looking for a positive, highly skilled and motivated practitioner to join the Federation Leadership Team as an Assistant Headteacher from September 2021 for Whalton C of E Primary School.

The successful candidate will be an excellent teacher with high expectations of self and others with proven leadership and management skills, excited by the prospect of having the opportunity to work across our two church schools. They will have experience of teaching across the primary age range and possess excellent interpersonal and IT skills. The teaching commitment will initially be 0.5ft (based at Whalton) and 0.5fte dedicated to leading and managing across the Federation, working closely with the Executive Headteacher, dedicated staff and governors.

As part of the Federation Leadership Team, the successful candidate will provide professional leadership to inspire, encourage, motivate and support children, parents and staff to secure the Federation’s continued success and improvement; ensuring all children achieve the very best they can in a nurturing and aspirational environment.
