We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and highly motivated person to join our residential team. The post is integral to our children’s homes which provide high quality care and support to young people with complex needs. To succeed in this role you must have an excellent understanding of the needs of children, young people and families and be committed to making a lasting difference to their lives.

To succeed as the Deputy Officer in Charge you will be a resilient and resourceful person who can build strong relationships with both young people and staff quickly. You must be solutions focused and able to remain calm in challenging situations. Confident at supervising and mentoring staff, you will have outstanding organisational skills and be experienced at maintaining excellent case records.

The post requires experience of working in residential care and a recognised social work qualification or NVQ level 3. As Deputy Officer in Charge you must be able to work to a rota, including pro rota weekend work with shift patterns and sleep-ins as required.
